Full-time Positions
Footy Sevens and Soccer 7s are looking for a full-time weekend and evening coordinator to manage league nights at our various fields around the city.
Full-Time Coordinator - Job Description
The Full-Time Coordinator is responsible for supervising league play and other Ottawa Footy Sevens programming, as well as the venues in which it takes place. The league supervisor is also responsible for associated administrative duties as directed.
Please note, this position is exclusively an evening and weekend position and shifts will take place at the soccer fields in Ottawa, Ontario. It is NOT a position where working from home is possible.
Salary Range - $55,000-$60,000 p.a.
The successful applicant will be eligible for the company's medical, dental, and health insurance program upon completion of a 3-month probationary period.
Duties:
- Supervision of league evenings in the position of coordinator.
- Supervising officials, players and facilities during evening and weekend games.
- Customer service, communication and retention.
- Maintaining all policies and best practices of Ottawa Footy Sevens.
- Refereeing soccer games.
- Reporting and recording all relevant information to the admin team or logging it on the website.
- Providing “On-call” administrative support to part-time staff at other fields.
- Online attendance at weekly staff meetings
- Other administrative duties as required.
Work Location: The Full-Time Coordinator’s Position will be considered an “on-field” position and will take place at various indoor and outdoor soccer fields in the greater Ottawa area. The work week will be made up of 5 "on-field" shifts with two days off. Administrative tasks or online staff meetings that can be performed at home may make up a few hours of a standard work week..
Schedule: Flexible working hours, subject to the needs of the business. A minimum of 36 hours per week must be spent “on-field” coordinating or refereeing. Evening and weekend work is essential and expected. One of the positions' weekly shifts will be on Sunday and/or other weekend days. Days off on these days will be granted within reason.
The ideal candidate would be a professional and reliable person, with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to ensure that teams have the best possible experience during their weekly games, to manage referees and part time staff and to ensure a safe and clean environment at the field. A strong interest and background in playing, refereeing or managing soccer is ideal.

Part-time Positions
Job Title: Part-Time Weekend Coordinator
We are also looking for a part-time weekend coordinator to work 12-18 hours across 2-3 shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday each week.
The Weekend Coordinator is responsible for supervising league play and other Ottawa Footy Sevens programming, as well as the venues in which it takes place. The league supervisor is also responsible for associated administrative duties as directed.
