It's the news you have been waiting for - we can confirm that our leagues are back and will kick off this coming Sunday!
We've got a full range of coed, women's and men's leagues and you can sign up your team right now on the Footy Sevens Website. We haven't forgotten individuals either, and we have limited individual spaces for the coed, women's and men's.
- Coed Leagues: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
- Women's League: Monday and Thursday
- Men's Leagues: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Safety and COVID-19 Protocols
Although we are excited as most of you are to be back out on the field, we are still only in the early stages of phase 3 of the Province's reopening plan and all games in the leagues will be operating under strict protocols to make sure that we meet the Provincial guidelines and provide a safe and controlled environment to get you back to playing the sport that you love. We'll have adaptations to our procedures before, during and after our games and you can find a full updated list of these COVID Policies & Procedures here.
League Locations:
To help us ensure that all of our procedures and the staff monitoring them are entirely consistent we will be sticking to a single venue and holding all of our initial games at Immaculata High School (140 Main St.).
We will also only be offering outdoor games this season, and have moved the start of the indoor leagues to September. Team and Individual registrations are open for these leagues.
Some FAQs
What if I want to play but some of my usual teammates don't? We completely understand that, while the majority of players may be looking forward to getting back on the field, some players won't feel that it is right for them at this time, which is completely understandable. If you find yourself as part of a group that wants to play, but doesn't have enough at this time, try our forum. You can find posts for players looking for teams and teams looking for players. We've already seen a couple of teams merge their "half-teams" together for the new season. Don't forget you can also register for individual teams, and if you drop us a line, we'll make sure that we place you together on the same team.
How long will these leagues last? The leagues starting this week will be 8 games long and last until the first week of September.
Will you still be offering the socially distanced soccer programs? Yes, chatting to some of you this week, it sounds as if some of you don't feel ready for league play yet, but would like to continue with the social distanced training programs and soccer golf. We will be posting an updated schedule for these for next week over at our pickup soccer website.
It's been a long few months, and we are still a long way from being back to normal, but we have missed seeing you every week and we look forward to seeing you back on the field soon,
