We hope everyone had a good holiday and we wish you all a happy new year.
As you know by now, Ottawa is under a full lockdown and indoor sports are prohibited until February 11th. With these restrictions in mind, we wanted to reach out to update everyone on how they will impact our current schedules and the next season of leagues.
Winter Season:
Providing restrictions are lifted and indoor team sports are permitted, the winter season will resume on February 11th. We have started updating schedules and will confirm the adjustments once we know that government restrictions will be lifted. The final weeks of the winter season will be condensed and likely involve doubleheaders.
Winter/Early Spring Season:
These restrictions have had a knock-on effect on our next set of winter/early spring leagues and some start dates have been delayed. Please double-check the homepage of the website for specific league information.
Our Register with Confidence Guarantee:
Registration is open for our Winter/Early Spring leagues and your team space can be secured with a 250.00 deposit. If the Winter/Early Spring season is cancelled due to Covid restrictions, registrants will have the option to receive a refund for any unplayed games.
In order to keep things manageable on our end, we'll not be accepting full team payments until we have confirmation that provincial restrictions will be lifted. For a full list of our leagues click here.
We are currently operating under the assumption that measures will be lifted in February but recognize there is a level of uncertainty. We'll continue to update you as to the status of our restart as information becomes available.
