Hey everyone, we’re looking for a reliable full-time goalkeeper for our Footy Sevens team this season. The games are on Saturdays between 2-6pm. (11 games, 60 minutes each --> May 30-August 29)
We’re looking for someone who has actually played keeper before, preferably in competitive divisions or at a solid level. Not looking for a beginner keeper or someone who is still uncomfortable in net.
We’re willing to cover the team fee for the right keeper. (Only if you’re actually a great keeper)
Ideally you are:
- Confident in goal and not afraid of the ball (Actually dives)
- Able to communicate with defenders
- Reliable and able to show up consistently
- Experienced in competitive/semi-competitive 7s
About the team (Skill)
We’re a chill team, not beginner, not advanced. I would say a mixed skill level, a couple strong players, a few decent guys, and a couple of newer ones. So we’re not trying to pretend we’re elite, but we still want to compete and take the games seriously. Skill level on the team varies, so having a strong keeper would make a big difference.
