Job Title: Athletic Field Supervisor, Groundskeeper, & Labourer
Location: Central Ottawa (RA Centre, Immaculata H.S., uOttawa)
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Athletic Field Supervisor, Groundskeeper, & Labourer. This position requires someone who can work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and ensure the smooth operation of field maintenance activities.
Responsibilities:
- Complete field maintenance operations and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner. These include but are not limited to grass cutting, athletic field line painting, field grooming and general labour. - Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on equipment and facilities. - Coordinate with facilities manager to schedule maintenance tasks and prioritize assignments. - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field preferred. - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. - Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly wage of $20/hr.
